Good work - I hate replacing the alternator. For some reason its just the most terrible job for no reason other than the bolts and the space available. ABS may still complain about low voltage. If the battery was flat then it will take several hours to be topped up. I'd say the voltage on your pict...

Almost certainly the alternator has died (most likely the regulator). Batteries do recover some voltage over time immediately after the load is withdrawn, however try not to leave it flat for too long otherwise it can reduce the batteries capacity/performance. Yep just had a look, not charging.. I’...

Car broke down on me tonight… First the ABS light came on, then all the dash lights came on, then it all got dim and the needles went dead while driving like a flat battery, then I stopped it refused to re stat like a flat battery…. The battery felt to be getting stronger the longer I left...

The dreaded ABS light has shown up..
So it came on after a day of heavy rain, the last time it came on was after I washed it..
Codes are..
51 - Motor lock
52 - Motor stuck on
81 - CPU

I’m guessing there’s a dry solder joint in the ABS module… to be continued..

Took this for its first proper drive on the weekend, it went well, did about 150kms with no major problems however I think the Auto trans has got problems.. When cruising at times there’s complete loss of drive with no response for brief moments then if you press the throttle a few times it comes ba...

Looking at the receipt, it appears to be a double cheeseburger, MacKoi carp sandwich, tofu on the side, and a cappuccino.
