Some updates on parts sourcing (we are taking a leaf out of Nafe's book
)
Manual conversion kit sourced (just need the gear gaitor frame), master cylinder sourced - that was before the donor car was procured...
Since the donor car was bought, it has yielded a replacement power steering oil cooler.
So, one donor front end;
De-greasing of all the spot weld lines to work out exactly where they are and which ones need to be drilled out;
Centre punch all the ones that need to go (except for the ones you don't spot first time round
)
Lots of drilling;
Yes, including ones inside the front cross member
(look through the hole)
