Thanks all, but shes fighting me all the way.. seems I have found more rust in it ... right around the rear trailing arm mounts, a previous owner had covered it with seam sealer by the looks and when I came to clean it all up for sealing and stone chip, well I just made some holes

This car has been like this all the way, just when theres some progress it kicks me ..

ahh I've always wanted an ef hatch to be honest @bluejackhustler , im not so sure I would want one now after this project, unless I new it was mint, and then they sell for stupid prices when you consider what the car is..

Are you going to try to fix up this extra rust. Or swap out the parts? Wouldn't be to expensive for an older car like this would it?

Yeah I will repair it, the rot is in the chassis so I will just pull the trailing arm to one side hopefully then I'll have enough room to work, I really dont wuna take the suspension off as the bushes look as if they bolts will all be seized in them and that will mean more money and hassle

I often wonder what happened to this car....
Was sold on gumtree by my parents when I came to Australia.
It went for £600 with the fleshly powder coated wheels wrapped in brand new Pravda spec 2 tyres which I asked my dad to take off and keep as well as the original crx wheels and a set of avo coilovers for it which I wanted to keep
The people who bought it said they wanted it for an autograss car!! ..... Bullshit!!!
