As some of you might know, I also have a 89' (MK2) CRX..

Bodywork wise it was in a sorry state when I bought
it as its done about 223,000 miles..

Even with such milage I drove it over 200 miles back from Essex to Wales and it didn't miss a beat, sitting at 80-90 mph
most of the way (not that the speedo is very accurate)

anyway heres a link to my CR-XUK build where nobody really seems to chat much if you aint got the post count

sadly you have to be a member of CRXUK to access the projects section.. :x

This car has had to have a LARGE amount of welding..
it had both full sills done already when I got it but I still had to do patch on drivers door, drivers lower door pillar, passenger rear arch, passenger rear inner arch, drivers wing changed (came with car), drivers floor pan...
it really was in a shape

I had never done anything like this before so it was a total learning curve and my welding at the start was not great but I have certainly learned how to now

Anyway I have done all the welding, taken the appropriate measures to seal it all up so im hoping to keep the rust at bay for a while now..
Its also all back together and has a few layers of original R63 red paint on it now which is good to see..
At this point im waiting for more paint to come as my father was not happy with the finish..
I hope to have it on the road by February :D

cheers for looking..
