Value Sports Type2 sideskirts - worth repairing?

I picked up a set of value sports type 2 sideskirts.
Quite like the look of them but will need to do some fibreglass repair which i have not done before.
Not sure if i will ever use them :?
Are they worth fixing up?
Will get some pics up tomoz

If the damage is minor, the fibre glass repair is quite easy.

Just clean up the surfaces, scratch them up (inside) so the resin has something to bite into. Others will have more knowledge, but less hardener in the resin makes it set slower and stops it overheating and curing too quickly which tended to stress it and lose adhesion.

I had to fix up the end of the motegi side skirts, just slapped it on the inside with some of the fibre glass matting. It's the prep and painting afterwards that is the skilled part!

i have a full VS1 kit i need to repair.....sometime :roll: i will also need to do some fibreglassnessness on these so keep us in the loop on how you go!

Thanks for the advice. I will give it a go once the weather is a bit warmer. Also got some jap wingswest sides to fix as well.

I've done plenty of fibreglass stuff all pretty easy just take your time an don't put lots on little an often, if worried just do a bit let it dry then do a bit more. wear disposable gloves as it can go everywhere plenty of kits on eBay just read instructions an off you go , oh an dan if you want to drop off your bits I can do them for you if you want
