Hey,
Seems my alternator has gone bad, where best to get a new one from?
I have started to look but am struggling to find the right one anywhere.
I have a JDM 4th Gen, which from reading here is different from the standard UK alternator.
The broken one is a Denso 101211-5850

Perfect, if I can get this shipped over ASAP I may be able to make the Japfest @Silverstone.

Yikess,
So after placing the order I then get this message 30 minutes later:
"Due to a stock error the product is no longer available."
With a refund.
So I am back to square one.

I have just rebuilt my alternator it. I replaced the bushes, rectifier and voltage regulator. Cost me about £50 and took less than 30 minutes in my kitchen. If you Google the alternator part number and add rectifier etc it should yield the parts you need. Hope that helps

@Greg
@Max
are either of you able to point us in the direction of these parts please? as i have no doubt some of us lude owners would prefer to renew our own instead of buy new ones which seems very difficult now for a 4g
ill pop this up on the guides/how to section if we can get them, it will be very useful going forward

I found all my parts on eBay, I know it's not relevant to this alternator but the item numbers are;
263678956863
324587129389
294414253313
But then again they are probably the same parts
