New website - Sneak peak

We've got a new website coming in January, Which will have prelude stuff!!

Any feedback appreciated, Note, that its empty and images are only temp.

Old site is opencart,

Megento is far harder, There is far fewer "plugins" and a lot of manual scripts to run to make it do things,

Biggest problem is going to be transferring customer details over, I dont want everyone to have to re-register.

What's the database engine powering things? Will both sites use the same database source?

Each has their own database, It doesn't take products or info from a main data source etc. Just manually added products etc.

I'm not bad at website stuff, but once it comes to scripts and databases i'm a bit lost

Yeah, Pretty sure it is.

I can access the data in PHPmyadmin, but it seems a messy way to transfer things over, and would take some time from what I see.

If its more as HTML and I cant google the answer then I'm stumped.
