The 5th gen manual lists the clearance between the nub of the sensor and the ring as 0.4 to 1mm only. looks like it might be another couple of millimetres on top of that in your picture. If you can file the bolt off and remove any surface corrosion, lube it up and tap the sensor in so it sits flush...
