It's the standard mani, still on the car at the moment, all studs are intact up to now. I'll let you know once removed if you haven't got 1 by then.

It kills me to do this, but after 3 engine swaps and a recurring problem causing it, it's time to break my prelude. So it's a 1997 R reg, H22a5 with a H22a8 (M2P4) gearbox, ecu, intake mani with 62mm throttle body etc. Bottom end is knackered due to the oil pump failing again, but the head is good. ...

No worries bud
Maybe try completely loosing the other bolt so you've got play in the bracket, then get the 2nd bolt lined up properly, hand tight if you can. Then do them both up a few turns at a time
