Don't know it, but could have been wrongly registered on the V5 (there are tons of errors out there) or was originally an auto that's been converted and someone hasn't updated the V5 (simple job to do but most don't bother/think of it). that's a good point, i've not update my v5 for the 4g to say i...

i will try and make this as an observer but the scooby is due arch & paintwork the week before so this may overrun

if you have a leakdown tester but no compressor to run it, either borrow one or hire one from a shop - will only need it for a day so should be pretty cheap. this way you get an accurate picture of what is going on and where its going wrong. i had to do the same to my 4G, it showed the air leak past...
