Ive nothing against Prelude's (apart from the 4th gen, never been a fan) but lets face it, none of them have ever set any records nor have they been made famous for anything. Even Honda's in general, the arse falls out most of them at some point and only a few hold a premium. DC2 - Best handling FWD...

They are cheap because they don't have a huge following. Many think they are ugly cars.

They are just a mainstream car with no heritage behind them. Cracking engine's, but other than that they don't have alot going for them.

That is a wee bargain. These would normally fetch around £1k.

I had a Gti 6n2. Was alright actually, but even that was slow for having 125bhp. Wouldn't even class is as nippy.

A place me and my brother used to always go to started failing on exhausts louder than standard so we starting going elsewhere where they didn't mind. Its not out of order, its something alot of places are starting to do. They are just doing a job which potentially could result in them losing there ...

XE Corsa against my mates old DC2. Was quite shocked tbh as to how well the wee Corsa comfortably pulled away.

And around Knockhill in the old 310+bhp Pulsar GTi-R against an E46 M3 CSL. Was a nice wee battle over a 20 min session in which the M3 was held at bay.

Surely the Advans won't be worth anywhere near enough to pay for the car.

Tbh i would stay away from the 2.2 TiD engined cars as the engines are very problematic, and when they do go t1ts up, most of the common faults are expensive fixes. Its an old Vauxhall engine 1st used in the Vectra B and just a general all round jobby engine.

I have a peugeot 306 1.9 TDI, grate on fuel I went up to essex from southampton with a full car and was speeding a bit ( all the way) and it cost me £30 in total to get ther and back, I know most people hate peugeots but just try one, as for being slow mine has been played with and is running 211 b...

Or you couldn't go wrong with the like's of a Mk4 Golf GT TDi or a 2001 facelift Passat TDi etc.

Its not alot of miles to warrant needing a diesel, but i myself would rather do it in a comfy tdi barge that has a bit shove.
