Hardly an inspiring range, is it?

Without wanting to sound like an inverted snob I drive past the new housing development down the road and everything parked outside the garages that they literally can't fit into is (1) very large (2) brand or nearly new and (3) usually wearing a premium badge. I need to remind myself that people l...

Goodness knows what they would have made of our Prelude.

@jdeale84 That's a seriously sexy looking car, buddy. She's been photographed well too. Very SR-71, very Stealth. Ten out of ten from the West Yorkshire jury.

If the manifold cover isn't rusty, just 'tarnished' (that's how it looks?) it would probably polish up nicely without needing to be re-finished? It's mild steel, but plated with nickel (or something) from factory. If it can be polished, that would look better than painting. Excellent advice, Iain. ...

Good morning, Iain. Here's the VIN plate of M334 SWP and hadn't noticed the 'ENG' stamp before. My Malaysian Prelude didn't have a red-top originally either, that was another tweak of mine.

Say goodbye to this gloomy looking engine bay. She's in the garage today for a bit of fettling. I've asked for the rocker cover to be painted in the crackle red finish, new red plug leads and a new set of NGK plugs fitted. (Basically, I'm attempting to recreate the look of the bay that I had on my c...

Oil fouled spark plugs-fixed

An interesting story to read through, @vanzep, and glad it all turned out for the best. Great pictorial guide. Thanks for sharing.

Sooty residue in the exhaust

is it the 3 or 4 cranks on cold start that is a concern? [/quote I must admit it's a bit annoying, vanzep. Although once again, maybe I'm just fretting too much. The start 3/4 crank happens in the mornings after sitting overnight, but is fine when I start her up around 17:00ish after sitting in the...

Brilliant feedback, Gents. It's much appreciated. I guess I'm overthinking and flapping like a wet hen (as usual). I'll mention it to Ali and his team on Monday just so they can keep an eye on it.
Thanks, everyone.
