Thanks for all the replies. It's not costing me anything and space isn't an issue. It's in a car port so generally quite well protected from the weather. I do far too many miles for the Cayman to be a daily to the point where the cash alternative wasn't available as I'm a high mileage driver. Got an...

Should I sell the lude?
The lude has been a third car since January and SORN for a while. Now I have a company car and the Cayman for fun I'm struggling to see a time when I'll ever justify putting the lude on the road and have time to drive it.
Should I sell it and let someone else enjoy it?

Sarah, great to hear we have matching cars. It is a UKDM. I have almost every receipt and the 2nd owner from 1999 to 2013 only took it to Honda which is amazing. Also lived about 5 miles from me in Surrey which I took as a sign that I had to buy her, rescue her from a Devon field and bring her home...

I have used Event several times with competitive prices and excellent service every time. Very convenient when at work and saves an hour spent reading old magazines in ...

Re: Courtesy cars
Some great comments on here, making me smile :-) I think the ford dashboard yoghurt pot theme and back pain seats must be standard ford. It was 35 miles home in the fiesta last night and about half way through I realised my lower back was really starting to hurt in a really uncomfortable way! And to...

Courtesy cars
You may all remember my time in a 1 litre Peugeot 107 last summer, well I've surpassed that experience and am now driving a Porsche Fiesta 1.2. http://i60.tinypic.com/149za1c.jpg Thought it would be interesting to hear people's experiences -I've started you off so, best and worst courtesy cars you'v...

Glad I'm not the only one who's sad enough to record these events on my various cars

Re: A new sibling for my lude...
Yes taking my time getting used to it. Hopefully the fact that the engine is in the right place will make it less unpredictable than a 911!mercutio wrote:be very careful in the wetuntil you get used to the car it will switch ends very quickly
