Okay, it's just the link to the guide on removing ac mentioned removal of the evaporator?

So to clarify the ac delete can be done and the evaporator left alone??

Before I proceed with the removal, can anyone confirm the heater / climate control functions will still work bar the ac?

Has anyone experienced problems with the heating system once removed? Also is it mandatory to remove the evaporator?

Thanks people.

Yep I removed air con because it never worked in my Type S. Very easy to do. Just 10mm Bolt and follow the lines removing as you go. Get a shorted ac delete belt. Hardest part was removing the expansion valve from the condenser under the dash but still easy. I then had the pleasure of air con in my...

What is the general view on removing ac and cruise control. I never use them and could be weight saving plus clears up engine bay.

Anyone ever removed them and regretted it, I'd be interested in hearing first hand experiences when removed and what to look out for. thank you

Okay people, I know I've dropped off the radar but I've learned children take priority over cars and forums. Good news is I still have my lude, but she is very tired and in need of an overhaul. The dreaded rusted arches have shown their ugly face again and the lacquer on certain repaired panels is s...

Re: TopPrelude's Ride

Commiserations on your recent wedding and child. Oh, hang on, congratulations.... That's the right word to use, yeah, congratulations! Anyway, glad to see you're still around Alex, and that one of the nicest looking Preludes ever in these parts will be living on! Very funny Garry - made me chuckle....
