Motegi Kit For Sale

Something about those listings (and the sellers other listings) seems dodgy to me. Might be fine, but id be wary... Listing photos are of other photos (1 of 4 printed at the top of pictures). Why not list the kit separately if you have it as it'd sell instantly (also not pictured or colour described...

2.2 VTEC Manual ECU needed

I'd agree - never heard of a faulty ECU.

Faulty main relay or other wiring issue most likely the cause.

a5 or a8 engine?

Might be worth stating any other relevant detail (engine swap by any chance?).

Help: After market remote central locking

No need for aftermarket - the car comes with remote central locking as standard. As a side note, the remote central locking is COMPLETELY separate to the immobiliser and key system. If you want to add new ignition keys to the car, you will need the RED key. If you don't have the red key, you cannot ...

This will suit someone

10th gen civic is a VTEC turbo, suspect it came from non EU market civic or CRV (1.5t).

The japanese 10th gen (FK) civics got a 'turbo' sticker by the 3rd brake light, but I don't like the civic enough to put a sticker on it

Where to get a catalytic converter? (5g 2.2VTI)

My decat wasn't quite the right one for my h22a5 , so when they installed it, they had to sleeve the downpipe so that its length and rotation could be adjusted (handily, so it could be swapped between the 'wrong' decat and a new cat). If yours has been welded up, it may be that the original system c...

Where to get a catalytic converter? (5g 2.2VTI)

Generally if the cat is blocked, you will start to feel driveability issues. Mine happened quite quickly. I drove home from the track day, and within a day or two, I was struggling to get to 50mph, the exhaust was blocked. It was like going uphill or having the handbrake on. If the exhaust/cat is bl...

Has anyone experience with Clifford alarm systems?

You can insure it without the alarm, but I think it just means claims for theft are not allowed. I don't have one fitted (it had an alarm fitted but I removed it after it liked to prevent me starting and randomly beeping the horn). You should be able to resync the fobs and the rolling code by ensuri...

Where to get a catalytic converter? (5g 2.2VTI)

I'm pretty sure I fitted a cheapy cat to my h22a5 lude after the original melted after a track day. it passed emissions fine afterwards. Since the cars are old and tax is not based on measured emissions, you are lucky that you do not need to purchase a type approved cat. I think there are 2 or 3 dif...
