Thanks Iain.
It's 54 lbs-ft if anyone else wanted to know.
I'm a little confused though as you were using a 32mm socket to undo the nut and he was adamant it was 30mm? Are there different sized nuts on the different engines (2.0l, 2.2 vtec, 2.3), or is it the different domestic markets?
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

I couldn't find the torque setting in the 4th gen Service manual (original release or the supplements) so just went on the figure in the write-up above and it worked fine. wurlycorner do you remember what that torque setting was? I've got a bit of a leak and I suspect it's coming from the oil cooler.

Re: JC's 94 JDM SI-Vtec
I was trying to figure out how I was going to refit the internals from the old rear brake caliper pistons into the new ones I'd bought. Got them out fine, just had to hunt around for the circlip after it went flying :o I took the new pistons and old internals to work, found a short piece of 1/2"...

Re: JC's 94 JDM SI-Vtec
Thanks but the paint on the wheels was really bad. So after I finished playing with the drop links and brakes, yesterday afternoon/evening I decided to do some wheel prep and spraying. I know, I thought about black on black but I'd also like to be different n I've seen a few black ludes with black wheels so I've got another idea, we'll see if works!preludemanh22 wrote:black looks nice on them alloys

DuLexel Wheels?
Been looking at the wheels that came on my lude and I was curious to find out how much they are worth (what quality they are etc)? The centre caps say DuLexel and I found a picture of a set of wheels which look just like mine with the same centre caps but the title says they are a rare magnesium JDM...

There's a lip on the bolt shaft to hold the rubber on and, because I didn't fancy sticking my head over the grinder whilst cutting it, it was easier to cut the bolt through the rubber than close to the anti-roll bar whilst the drop-link is still attached. Once you've cut through it and removed the d...
