Are your dampers adjustable? Sounds more like insufficient damping compared to the spring rates to me. How low is the car? We're the nuts/bolts cracked off and retorqued at its new ride height? My opinion is this helps prevent the bushes wearing prematurely but the deflection on the bush may be affe...

Is it correct that h22's are only interference engines whilst in vtec?

So in theory if the belt snapped whilst out of vtec then the pistons and valves should not have collided and the damage not too bad...

Thanks for posting this. Honda issued revised parts when fixing atr boxes, quite possibly for the reason you have identified.

I've not seen inside a damaged u2q7 before but I have caused the damage from the driving seat!!!

Surprised to hear that to be honest, do you mean its a bit thin? Yes, I mean for it to be sprayable it seems to have loads of thinners added and takes loads of coats, which don't seem as good a finish as the brush stuff. The caveat to this is usually spraying a product gives a better finish, maybe ...

Anyone hazard a guess at how many 400ml cans of Hammerite smooth it will take to paint all 4 standard calipers? I'd have thought more than 1 to be safe, but not more than 2? Are you thinking of using hammerite spray? I don't know what everyone else thinks of it but for me the spray is weak as body ...

Yes no need at all to remove front bumper, you actually remove the grille to remove the bumper.
