In answer to various questions. I am after a 4WS, 2.2 vetch. I guess this would mean a Gen 4. I am not looking for it to be a daily driver but I would want it to be good enough ( or potentially good enough ) to look after and keep up to scratch. I am fairly good doing things up from a cosmetic point...

Many thanks for the replies. In answer to one question... I think it is a Gen 4 I will be looking for. 2.2 vetch. Sounds like the Gen5 zeniths would be outside what I want to pay. Although I am sure they would ideal, it would be a mess around with and play type of car in the event. That said rust do...

Haven't got a Prelude yet but want to buy one. What is everyones opinion as to the best type to buy? I have been told 2.2 VTEC as opposed to 2.0 and, from what I can see... the prices asked swing wildly from a few hundred quid to a couple of thousand ( some are even 4 K! What are people thinking ? )...
