Some pics would probably be helpful tbh. Any chance of taking and posting some? Shall try to get some pics soon. I'm not allowed to do 'car maintenance' in the car park where I live or I get told off which makes it difficult but I will try be sneaky tomorrow as it's sunday and landlord shouldn't be...

Is the old reluctor ring otherwise intact? Hasn't fractured so that part of it opens up at speed and catches on the sensor, has it? They can suffer from corrosion between the back of the ring and the outside of the joint casing, causing just that (reluxtor ring to fracture) Or bent mounting bracket...

I can’t say what mine is. Didn’t get gasket changed today as planned as studs are swapped for extended ones and had no standard ones. Cars going back once there ordered. Mine turned out to definitely be FITV going to try to clean it up and fix it this weekend. Best of luck with yours mate hope you ...

WANTED 3g Drivers Side (RH) door trim & tail light
Hi guys. As title suggests I need a right hand tail light for a 91 3g. Has the white/clear part at the top and red part at bottom. I also need the plastic trim piece from the outside of the drivers (rh) door, behind the window. Not the bump strip. If anyone has these bits lying around id very much a...

Mine failed a couple of years ago - I reflowed the solder joints as some looked a bit dodgy. However it still didn't work. I suspect the coil went o/s. Yea, non-starting and cutting out can be difficult problems to diagnose. If it's not the Main Relay or something else simple (like a fuse) then you...

How did you get on mate? Sorry for late reply. Seems pretty definitive. Blocking the port on the intake settles the idle, and when I took FITV cap off it was all black and I couldn't budge anything but the plunger. On the bright side I did shred one of the screws and had to replace them both to get...

120kmph right? ;) Mph..? Hey speeding is nonsensical. Einstein said that time is relative, speed = Distance over Time, the true distance we travel on a spinning planet orbiting a sun, orbiting a black hole that it's being pushed away from, all at indeterminable speeds. How fast was I going? I don't...

It's perfectly normal to smooth out when put under load, as long as your Idle Air Control Valve is working properly. Oh, and just don't keep reading my thread then... It gets a bit nasty :? All later gen Preludes have pretty close gear ratios. Think we'd all benefit from a 6th or 7th gear really :l...
