Hey I've just phoned them and they've said they dont supply anything for the age of the engiene and they wont put warranty on 2nd hand parts so they womt touch it have said the best thing for me to to do would be buy a new engiene

Ok cheers I'll keep a eye out I have just spoke to a company and they will recondition the engeine and ship it back to me for just over a grand with 12 months warranty if you do end up buying and decide to sell it give me a shout

Just want to point out quickly it is just the arches that are rusty the rest of the car is in pretty good condition for its age

The arches do need doing but we are going to cut them out and re do them how much roughly should I be paying for a new engiene ? I have looked on ebay but they really vary on price and where I've basically been screwed over with the car dont really want to be screwed over with a engeine aswell

Hey guys I've taken the vtec soloined off and it was clogged up but it also had shards of metal in there would I be right in saying that's it for the engiene? I'm guessing if it's in there it's going to be in the pick up aswell ?

When I brought the car as was driving it home the oil light would start to flicker when stopping at traffic lights but then as soon as I was driving it went off the oil was the 1st thing i checked and was fine on oil my mate did say maybe change the oil but do the test and stuff 1st just to save was...

Do you still have the carbon interior parts and the cam cover ?

Cheers guys I've ordered a sandwich plate now dont suppose anyone could help aswell my vtec is very intermittent and throwing out alot of smoke have done a compression test and that's fine so trying to get the oil pressure tested anyone point me in the right direction if it isnt the oil pressure?
