So it failed it's test on uneven wear on the rear nearside brake disc. Sure enough when I checked the caliper had a sized pin... Some one had used normal grease previously. It's now stripped and I'll have the rebuild kit tomorrow. Other than that the car is good... I've put on two new rear discs so ...

So after months and months of inactivity I finally got the timing belt done, refitted the cat and given the old girl a general look over before going to get her tested.

A few minor jobs and hopefully it's back on the road.

yeah, the signature is nothing less than you would expect. im thinking of getting a decal made up of the signature just as a little nod to the previous owner.

unfortunately its been sitting in my garage since i got it. i have it booked in for a timing belt change but ive just not had the chance. i really want to get it on the road for the summer....

previously had a 94 jap import around 2004. loved the car and regretted selling it in 2006. just got my hands on a gen 5 so hopefully many years of motoring ahead of me.

Yeah, they are from a honda accord, possibly a bit later than 00 or 01. Im not 100% on them. I was going to get them powder coated a gunmetal colour.

Interestingly, Ive just finished valeting the interior, not because it was dirty, but because of the smell of really stale and old tobacco smoke in the carpet and seats. I believe that LJK Setright was a prolific smoker.
