Lude Generation

Hello! I recently replaced the sender unit on my bb8 as before it was displaying a quarter full reading on the gauge until fuel level dropped below that and then the gauge would read appropriately. Now that the sender unit has been replaced, it's stuck on 3/4 full?!

i think he may be getting confused with the 4ws locking tool, but thats only used for getting a car with 4ws tracked properly, nothing to do with diagnosing. have you checked to see if the bulb is missing from the dash yet? that's where i'd start as others have mentioned already Haven't checked yet...

It's normally a resilient system. Given you're low mileage it might have seized up a little through lack of use. Hopefully it will free up with some use. If the light does not come on when turning the ignition, have you checked the bulb is present? It is quite common to see people remove the bulb when they have issues with the system.
