Bloody potholes
Yeah same here. At least with the Lude I have some sidewall to help out, my Tesla has 235/35/20's and I have buckled every alloy from pot holes. Tesla wheels are made of Stilton. I can create a flat spot in a Tesla wheel with 1500 grit wet and dry. Half the roads In nottingham that were "repai...

Doctronic ProECU-K retrofit?
Is that applicable to the 5g? I understand the ECU is not tunable in a 5g and the popular option was to convert to obd1 without 4ws.. or piggy back to keep 4ws, something to do with the 4ws system needing a few signal inputs from the ECU? Does anyone know what those inputs are? And if they can be p...

At least 1 too many digits on the asking price!
That's about the right price for a ropey 3rd gen in Japan. I was looking around 5 years ago for a red 3rd gen and prices started at 200000 yen or £10k before import stuff.

Overheating issues
With the Lude, jack up the front drivers side as far as you can and then bleed the coolant squeezing the top and bottom hoses. Then take it for a drive and repeat the process again. Always get an airlock when I think I've sussed it.

Inner and Outer Rear 4WS track rod ends
I linked you to the ones on ebay japan on facewank but if you need them ASAP you'll have to go to a scrapper and find a 2nd hand set.
Unless someone has a spare lying around they can sell.

Pad recommendation
DS2500 the most dusty Springfield pad I've ever used and noisey. Got rid.
Dixel Type Z, epic pad but wow the loudest pad ever, squeaks like a race car. Got rid.
EBC Redstuff.....very happy, quiet, clean and stops well to me.
I use them on my van and Prelude.

Type S - Alternator
No ATTS doesn't draw any more amps, the only difference is the way the alternator communicates with the eld and ecu. ANY JDM 5th gen alternator will work on a t Type S. In that thread I posted just make sure the connectors match the JDM one. If the photos are working looks at the connectors labels. ...

Yep you need a specific JDM alternator.
Best bet it to get it rebuilt.
I went through this on my Type S so you don't have to.
