Re: At My Wit's End

I feel your pain... always the same. When you don't need something they are everywhere, as soon as you need it you can't find for love nor money. I assume you are a member of ITR-DC2 forum and FB page? There are a few breakers on there that may be able to help.... in fact, I'm sure I saw someone adv...

Re: 1995 JDM BB4 Prelude - Still MOT'd - repair or break it for the good stuff

Yeah certainly a good few quids worth of parts on it, great motor, great lsd box, tanabe exhaust etc etc.
Would certainly make more breaking it but time and space is the downside for us.

Yeah been around these parts for a while just not used anywhere near as much as it should have been sadly

Re: 1995 JDM BB4 Prelude - Still MOT'd - repair or break it for the good stuff

Due to being let down after negotiations on this car, I am willing to listen to sensible offers on the whole car.

Car is still MOT'd, starts, runs and drives no problem at all.

If it doesn't sell as a whole then we'll end up having to break it in the New Year

Re: Timing belt tensioner conversion.

The original OEM Hydraulic tensioner is very much a fit and forget item, obviously self adjusts over the life of the belt (assuming correct initial fitment) and is certainly not as unreliable as the internet will have you believe. Although designed to be re-usable this is where the problems can come...

If i bought this,

could you put it on a big pallet and stand it/secure it with a stack of old tyres and straps ?

this is the way I send them at my work and never have problems with damages
Sorry, we neither have any pallets big enough or any old tyres
