Re: '99 BB6 "nut and bolt" restoration.
Tiny update on the project: Today, our glorious, sent-from-heaven above, savior and premier of Ontario, Doug Ford, made an announcement that will impact this project. He announced today that, as of April 1, 2019, Ontario will completely scrap the outdated (tax grab/scam) "DriveClean" emiss...

Re: '99 BB6 "nut and bolt" restoration.
Keeping it clean is a horrifying thought... It's easy to get it this clean when it is in pieces, but, once everything is bolted together... More work done. All by hand. Casting marks removed, sanded, polished. This piece took about two hours to get to this point. The dizzy casing is two days a...

I have been tinkering with a couple of odds and ends... Nowhere near done, but, just thought I'd let you all know I'm still alive. https://i.imgur.com/mzQaTGh.jpg https://i.imgur.com/zV9gIpz.jpg https://i.imgur.com/26Kraa5.jpg https://i.imgur.com/PnX5Imz.jpg https://i.imgur.com/JGCSmVt.jpg https://i...

Re: '99 BB6 "nut and bolt" restoration.
Allo Allo... The other day, it was a bit warmer so I went out the the garage to start up the Z for the first time in about a month or so. She fired right up. While I let the Z warm up I sat in the Prelude. I got to thinking how much I miss the Prelude. Yes, it is true, even with faster, and, more gl...

Re: '99 BB6 "nut and bolt" restoration.
It's been quiet in here for the past little while. I got caught up with work, and then went back to school for a bit. Money and time were short, so this project was put on hiatus for a bit. I picked up a '96 Lude as a beater, but, that turned into a bit of a project as well. It siphoned a lot of mon...

Never really took notice of them. I much prefer the 370z. And i much much much prefer the 300zx (z32). Likewise. I was ever really all that sold on the 350. I always thought the interior was a bit cheap looking. The 370 is nicer looking in my opinion, and the interior is miles ahead. I'm not crazy ...

Re: I am now an intergenerational Luder.
It went to a good home. A fellow who works at the parts store near me bought it. He got a hell of a deal on it!
