Not a Prelude; not a Honda; not even Japanese.

Thanks chaps. We weren't actually looking for a Dolomite Sprint - I'd a hankering for a Volvo Amazon - but this came up at a good price. A 3G Prelude would have been the right age, but I found it awkward to get in and out of it. The car has been rallied a bit over the years and isn't the prettiest b...

Not a Prelude; not a Honda; not even Japanese.

Jan and I were thinking about Dad & Son stuff. How about historic rallying? we mused. You know, regularity trials, that sort of thing. The basic idea is to research the topic this year and go for it properly next year. We've started the process:- https://i.imgur.com/fzeKay6.jpg https://i.imgur.c...

We bought another Honda

If you substitute 'Mexico' for 'Forest' you might be close. It's clearly a two-car garage in a country that doesn't import proper cars to temper their excesses, so must be somewhere the other side of the Tariff Barrier. [PS: Is it still called 'New Mexico'? Or has Agent Orange renamed it, too? 'New ...

It doesn't matter how many cars you own, the wish list never gets smaller.
Of course, you also need to take this into account:

Why considering moving it on then, out of interest? Just for a change. Back when we used to keep a small fleet, there was a bit of variety on offer. Now, we run only two cars and are likely to stay that way. I can't warm to our Volvo V70 but it's handy having an estate car. It doesn't matter how ma...

Selling it?
I think i might hang on to it for a bit. I'm considering moving the car on.
Not that I know what else to get instead; the Euro R is definitely one of the best cars I've owned.

Alignment wrong 4ws - garage messed up

If it all actually works properly except for the steering wheel alignment itself, could it be something as simple as just adjusting the wheel? Or are you saying that you actually have to steer the car to the right to go straight?

The sock is usually held in place by elastic sewn into its neck, aided no doubt by suction from the engine. The outer end of the filter is fitted with a cone-shaped end cap pushed in fairly lightly: https://i.imgur.com/AiINSPd.jpg When the sock comes loose and the end cap falls out, suction can give...

We bought another Honda

Thanks @Andyjess666 I asked a Honda main dealer to quote for fitting UK spec console. "Oh no, sir, we don't work on cars that old." Hah! It's the first vehicle I've owned that was built in a year beginning with a "2". Yes, @vanzep My lad was driving at the time. We've both had oc...

It's mostly standard except for the Injen induction ... https://i.imgur.com/9lCAZ7K.jpg Last weekend, the Injen system, managed to suck up the hydro sock through the inlet tube all, the way up to start of the throttle body, jamming the throttle. Scary stuff. I still have no idea how it happened.
