Teins get softer after a long journey?

Guessing that it must be the tyre pressures then that its sensitive too. This would make the most sense as the temp drop on sunday evening was quite pronounced. If you still have the ATR/ owners manual, can you confirm the tyre pressures for ATR running 215/45/17 on the 7jj rims (motegi style). I gu...

5th gen starting issue- battery, key or immobiliser??

I was about to say, flashing immob light when trying to crank means: 1) ignition switch is picking up the fact you are trying to crank - hence the flashing. i doubt your issue is in the ignition key switch. 2) flashing specifically means that the ECU cannot read the code from the key transponder, or...

Teins get softer after a long journey?

Accord type r says 35psi 2.4bar in the front. 31pai in the rear. That's for 45profile.

I'll have an experiment at the weekend and go from there

Teins get softer after a long journey?

I'm running 215/40/17 Michelin PS4. I'm wondering if in the recent hot weather the tyre pressures had raised a fair bit... i had been running 2.2bar same as the 16s but this might have been last checked a few weeks before it warmed up, suspect i need to go a touch lower (2 / 2.1 bar perhaps).

Teins get softer after a long journey?

So I had to drop off a PC for a family member, which warranted a good 3+ hours in the car. On the way there, I was realising that the car rides like garbage. I suspect this is due to: Yellow strong flex bushes (practically solid, unlike the red ones) Teins flex Z coilovers. went for 40 profile tyres...

h22 distributor

If vanzep can't sort you out - i have one also. I think it might have a dodgy crank sensor. It was left at my house after having been replaced for some reason.

5th Gen. Foglight switch, wiring harness and relay

i used a generic ebay kit , and then waited for an OEM switch to turn up on here. You can get the OEM switch from ebay USA sometimes, not sure if its still in stock at honda (expect it to be expensive if it is!). Last time I looked it was 40quid from usa on ebay. You can make a half decent job of in...

Intake system, upgrade or standard?

there is nothing critical in that pipes ducting - so you should be able to replace it with any kind of flexible ducting. Original part is no longer available (for h22a8/type s intake). ebay for a silicon replacement / reducers as required. needs to have a bit of give as the engine moves but the airb...

Beautiful UK 4G

Looks a lot tidier than most of the 5th gens that come up for sale! wouldn't fancy driving on the 16 year old tyres too far though.
