Lightened flywheel, worth it?

Pros: Engine is more responsive/revs quicker heel-toe is easier Cons: Struggles a little bit more pulling away (Only a small inconvenience) When A/C is on the extra load on the engine makes maintaining idle slightly harder and on th...

Toms 1999 VTi 4WS LHD

To keep it short and sweet, I picked a genuine OEM KS up from Htune and when it came around to changing the oil and filter after the engine rebuild, I changed the sensor at the same time. The car runs perfectly w...

Own up. Who crashed the type-s

I'd have the rear bumper and seats out of it if someone were to buy it for breaking.

Wheel refurbishment

Regarding painting where the tyre sits: there's no real need to, it's not a part that is seen at all, i would save the paint and put some extra coats on the wheel face as it needs to be as durable as possible. Be careful to let the paint dry properly around the lip of the wheel where the tyre bead s...

Type S Intake

You will not notice any difference in performance taking that dent out, although I would still take it out. Unclip the top of the filter housing one end and undo the jubilee band fastener on the other end. Remove the whole piece and try warming the dented part of the plastic up slightly (hair dryer ...

Increased vibration

If there is no strange behaviour or noises and you have checked the usual suspects, I'd say take a good look at the rear engine mount and make sure it is fully tightened. I'm not sure what else it could be.
Good luck

It was very rare, and was only ever when turning lightly.

I know we now have the 4ws manual now which might help?
That's exactly when mine makes the noise aswell.
I didn't know that we now had the 4ws manual, I'll check it out and keep you posted!
