Rust under Spare Wheel
I assume that's the black sound deadening material you're referring to? If so, the best thing to remove that with is to spray it with a 'freeze spray' (plumbers merchant stuff to freeze water pipes with) so it goes hard/brittle and then whack it with a hammer so it breaks up and detaches from the pa...

Unfortunately the website says they won't ship orders <160 € to UK. Oh yes, I just used that as an example. You could order from the parts department in any Honda dealer. Or if you have the part number, you can order it from Lings Honda or CoxMotorParts, who are UK Honda dealers that both have onli...

Little gathering at dynodays one Saturday?
Just seen this. That would be fun, yes - been a long time since we've done back-back ludes on a dyno in this club. It normally throws up some surprises :D https://www.dynodazeperformanceparts.com/services/dynodaze/ It's a bit of a trek for me, but I'd be up for that depending on date. Vtecmec do you...

Hello You can buy replacement caps (and seals for the cap) from Honda. A new cap is around £32, new seal around £3. Either order online, or from a local dealer (if you have one). Definitely better than putting another used one on there. https://www.parts-honda.uk/honda-cars/PRELUDE/1998/VTEC/ELECTRI...

Just to note that I find that although the manual makes it sound like you only need to tighten/adjust the handbrake cable once, you actually have to continually adjust/tighten the handbrake cable over the first few miles of driving (and deliberately use just the handbrake to slow down) before you ca...

Yep that wouldn't have anything to do with power steering fluid. If it happened after hitting a pot-hole, on any car with a macpherson strut, my money would on broken coil spring - but that doesn't apply to the lude of course. As mec says, need to be under the car with the weight sat on it and someo...

H22a Headbolts Single use only?
Could arise from superseded part number when they used the same part on a later/different engine, is all - quite common in auto manufacturing. Assuming that was the case, if you went into a Honda dealer and asked for the head bolts for your car, when they looked it up on their system it would show t...
