I like the idea James, I just think it's unrealistic for running at shows in terms of the fan.
It means we're also going to need a club generator to save hiring one every time, plus contributions to fuel at every show.
Yes it would make us stand out from everyone else, but the PUK mansion does the job nicely - when it's got some new legs!
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

donald has a fair idea, come night time and having a nice place to chill out in becomes quite important. A few lights and its suddenly not a cave is it. but the main thing is that sometimes the odd wedding one, with a little staining from wine you can 90% take out, comes up. These are light filled, air tight and very very open and light. these run off tiny little handcase gensets and look the bollocks.
you are seriously telling me that you 'prefer' something that takes 3x the space to store and transport and 25x the time to set up and looks like everyone else? Whatev's

6th gen Prelude please Mr Honda. RWD 2.4 turbo lude.

+...
The convenience of set up. I image you literally chuck it on the ground, plug in the fan and pin the corners. Wait a bit and it's done. No faffing with poles n jobby.
Doesn't have to just be a white blob or whatever, stick club vinyl/stickers/stuff on it etc. Suddenly you have the inflatable marquee version of Joseph's amazing technicolor dreamcoat.
It will be a touch warmer inside at night than just a tent, air sandwiched between material is better than just material. You all know the difference between single glazing and double glazing.
Rain wont body lemonade sideways though rips, overlapping material, etc.
EASILY REPAIRABLE. None of this 'oh we'll get some new poles', duct tape, done.
