Curborough Sprint yesterday *VID*

Post by chrismc » Tue Aug 21, 2012 8:52 am

What a cracking day!

Arrived to a soaking wet Curby at 9am for a private sprint day.

Plenty of track time & some interesting machinery- E46 M3, remapped E46 335d, Corsa VXR, Octavia VRS ~230BHP, my old 16v mk2 Golf (2L 16v ~170BHP with chassis mods) & a Nissan silvia s15 ~350BHP

Had a good time dialling in our new dampertech coilovers from Rich @ PAW (excellent kit!)

Come lunchtime the track was drying nicely & the afternoon was spent fine tuning with a bit of friendly competition...

The Prelude ran excellently all day. The revised spring rates really do work a treat on track.

Can't wait to ditch more weight & get our 2ws conversion fitted along with a slip-diff now.

Vids to follow:

Certainly seems to have great grip on turn-in :)

Did Rich set the geo up?

No it's all stock Geo as was- turn in greatly improved with stripping weight out of the rear combined with the increased spring rates!

Il be getting the geo setup properly once the 2ws conversion is fitted

:P yup- I love the reverberation off the trees!

Should sound even nicer now with Fujitsubo & K&N Typhoon :)
