Thanks for your suggestions guys, I did a bodge that I am going to try later, I split it in two when I took the manifold off yesterday but last night I sacrifised an old tape player for its solder heated an old screwdriver in the fire and ghetto soldered it back together :lol: I will see if it works. If it dont then I will get another, its worth a go. I did some reasearch and it can be bypassed but its more hassle than finding another one. earthing wont work as said in a previous post because it sends a variable voltage to the ECU, a bit more complex than I first thought :shock:

Oh well fingers crossed :lol:

Feck knows how you soldered it, Mine was in 2 parts, couldn't get a soldering iron in there

the are 3 points of contact but only 1 terminal on the plug and it had me scratching my head for a while, 2 solder blobs on the disc part and 2 tiny wires going to the stem which is the terminal thats in the plug, the 2 tiny wires go from the disc the the terminal. Im a bit pissed now Im off all week but If I can find a pic
