Payment hold on Paypal

Post by Ailfenergy » Fri Jun 21, 2013 4:37 pm

Payment holds on your eBay transactions. we are working with eBay to make buying and selling even safer. As part of payment holds for new eBay sellers , we'll hold the money from your eBay transactions for up to 21 days.
And then there is a link:
Find out how you may get your money sooner.
When I click on it it says:
You have requested an outdated version of PayPal. This error often results from the use of bookmarks.
Then I log off and try to log in without using a bookmark. And it's same again.

Is it ok? (I mean payment hold)
Is there any catch from buyers side?
The buyer received the item and hasn't complained, however he didn't leave me any feedback.
I've sold 2 items before this one with 100% positive feedback and I was able to access the money straight away.

Its happened to me a while back. I just had to wait like it said and the money became available. I think it started just after I used turbolister for the first time...not happened since (i stopped turbolisting) I wasn't a new seller either, so it wasn't that. Could be random...

I haven't used turbolisting. I've got just a few items for sale.

I would assume that I'm still considered as a new seller then.

I had payment on hold when I sold the ATR manifold to someone in the USA. Basically, they paid me in $s and it took 3-4 days to clear.

I was scared first.. because I had sold on USA before and it was instant but this one took a bit longer. It was all done with in few days so no real worry.

Had that before when I bought something, contacted EBay and it was because the paypal address has not been activated on their side. So I got paypal to refund me so they put the money back into my account.
