I'm going to be buying a 3D tv soon, I've been lots of research online about passive vs. active shutter glasses. But there's lots of conflicting info, some saying active is better, some saying passive is better.
Can anyone shed any light on which to go for?
I'll be going for a 46" and mainly using it for films, but will be doing some gaming too.
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

@rob: they layer multiphasic led sheets together. iv seen one 5 thick so far. the computer then plays the main sequence on the middle sheet and adds depth with the two either side. its pretty cool but it still does not beat my CRT
@toadster: yes mate, keep it till it goes pop.
