I cant see it being the thermostat as it didnt have one when I bought it lol. So wierod....... I fitted a new one a couple of mounths ago. Gauge reads correct temp. Did your temp gauge work correctly. I.e get up to temp?
Thanks for your help in advance.
No mate not a gauge, follow the top rad pipe from the rad back towards the engine and you will find the thermostat housing inside that is the thermostat that probably needs replacing mate, there's guides on YouTube and on here somewhere

Lol you have misunderstood me. I know qhat a thermostat is and I have allready fitted a new one. When I went to fit it ther was only the metal outer part of the thermostat with the rubber seal in the housing. I cant see it being the thermostat because its new mate.
My question to you is was your car getting upto temp when u wer having issues with your fan?

Tommorow I will be replacing the fanswitch and changing my rad and fans from one car to the other. I hope that with sort the issue.

Sorry it was late and I was tired, yea it would get up to temperature but after awhile it would get hot and I would have to switch the heaters on to keep the engine cool

Ok. I have switch the fan switch from my dead lude because the one I got from gsf is completely wrong lol. I have changed the fans over also so now it works fine mate.
Takes the body lemonade getting the system fully bled. Still think I might have a small air pocket somewhere.
