Yeah. Swapped the EL dash from his 'spare' lude into the one he uses.

Shame you are so far away, i could do with a hand getting mine in!

Its not technically difficult, but is a bit of work. We swapped the whole dash over (wiring loom included) so there was only a couple of wires to splice to get everything to work (I think it was an indigolemon write up we used for the fixes). I believe its a bit more involved if using the earlier loom.
The worst bit was trying to remove, and particularly refit, the cable to the heater control slide. Very fiddly and nearly impossible to get to! Luckily it wasn't my car so I left Chris to fiddle with that and swear to himself while I got on with some easier bits.
