In general, I find people who are consistently bolshy about their interpersonal skills , always justify themselves by saying it's the only way to get what they want and justify this approach by insisting that this is the only approach which gets results. With consistent overly demanding attitudes, others with whom they interact inevitably shirk away from them, in the sure knowledge that nothing will satisfy those with this approach. My core ethos that |I was trying to demonstrate , was that on the odd occasion when it is necessary to be more demonstrative about an issue, rather than normally being nice, creates enough of a marked change in others perceived impression of you, that you get better results than someone who remonstrates constantly.
