I loved driving my one 182. Owned from new, serviced religiously. Always babied until really properly warmed through. Great handling. Great engine. Wonderful brakes.
Oh yes, and when I sold it after 3.5 years and at 42k miles it had had:
drokked gearbox (Tooth puched a hole through casing. Replaced)
drokked Cat (Split up the middle. No known cause)
Re-painted tailgate (Flaking off. Bad factory paint)
Numerous sensor failures, including temp sensor that would render un-drivable
£2k+ damage from a puncture (Badly calibrated airbag computer. Airbag detonated and exploded leather/Alcantara seat. Clio airbag computer could not be reset and needed replacing)
And unfortunately I can't remember the rest, but the list was long and, undogmatic as I usually am, I do not anticipate buying another Renault for a long time....
Cheap to buy for a reason.
