Fun/enjoyable tow car

Post by Dino » Fri Dec 23, 2016 7:30 pm

Early next year im looking for a car i can enjoy but also be able to tow a trailer with a 4th gen attached..

Looking for something that i can use as a daily and reasonably affordable running costs.

Budget is £10k max.

What suggestions does everyone have?

So far i'm considering two options.

1) 2005'ish Subaru Forester STI

Or
2) 2008'ish Audi A8 4.0 V8 Tdi

What about the last Legend? Fully loaded, SH-AWD and a 3.5 V6 VTEC with 291 ponies? Not expensive given the toys either.

Yeah, 23 combined isn't amazing, but if you look around £5k gets you a decent example around the 90k mark, chuck the other 5k in the bank for fuel

Lol.. ive had a legend before. Got it for a bargain, cost me a shed load in fuel.. would have been better off buying a different car..
Legend is out of the running... A8 v8 tdi gets 36mpg on a run or 30 average..lol

I suggest a VW T5 because of its awesomeness and versatility.
There are more fun cars though
