Mobile Phone Insurance

After two years of HTC i fancied a change and i can honestly say my iPhone rocks. I thought i'd never be a fanboy.

Now have an iPad2 too

I have now come to the conclusion that those who diss them only do so because they can't afford one

Nah, I work in IT and am a geek - money doesn't enter into it. I diss them for the following reasons:

1 - Locked down ecosystem. I paid for the thing, I want to be able to run what I like on it.
2 - Apple have absolutely no morals, and are stifling innovation with patent suits.
3 - The hardware in the other phones is actually better.
4 - I have no machines running Windows/OS X - so can't use iTunes (nor do I want to).

Horses for courses though. If it does what you want, great - enjoy it, just expect to pay Apple prices for *everything* to do with it, including insurance

like shiny says check terms and exclusions,

because alot of them are not worth the paper they are written on

and agree with indigo apple are evil, but just slightly more evil than microsoft, sony and EA games

I've got contents insurance, if I wanted to include my mobile, they would add some sort of external cover. The excess would then be something like £200 - £250 which is more than the handset!
