Ouch, that looks way worse  I guess the silver lining was it was on a panel you could replace, and we've got a good community here who pull together for our cars :) Unfortunately it's the rear quarter of the Picanto, but still I'm sure it's fixable and we'll get it sorted.

You're right though, money aside the thing that feels worst is that somebody has wronged you, they don't care, and there's nothing you can do :|

Sorry to hear that mate
Theres loads out there that dont give a fk :(
Bought my FTO in 98 and back then paid 14.5k for it. A year later nipped into the local sainsburys for about 20 mins. Came out to find a crease running down the passenger side from the back bumper to the front wing  iirc was about 2k's worth of damage, no note fk all and even in a busy supermarket carpark nobody had seen anything
More recently we caught some kids outside the house messing about chucking stones. A couple had hit our cars parked on our property. We finally got one of their mothers to come along only for her to say "it's only a bit of metal" FFS if thats the parents attitude what chance have you got with the kids?
It's very sad but respect is a thing thats dying out these days

That sucks dude

The same thing happened to my best friends Skyline R34 last week, it happened whilst it was parked in a outdoor car park in Derby city centre on a Saturday. He came back to it to find the front bumper and wing scuffed, bumper dropped down and the wing dented. No details left or anything, its a busy place where he parked and no body got the reg plate of the offending car or called the police

Been in the same situation as you. Some prick reversed into my civic while it was parked on my drive. Damage came to about £850 but my insurance paid up. I still had to pay the excess though......
As for stones well some little fckrs decided it would be fun to try and hit each other with them. They missed and put it straight through my passenger side window. The usual happened when you go out to the kids on the street. Wasn't me it was someone else blah blah....... Fckng :tosser:'s

He is looking at jail time as mine was minimal compared to everything else he did that night! something like 4 cars, 5 houses as well as gates, and any other scrap metal he could get his hands on. Gotta wait till it goes to court but should get compo for it :)

Well if he did all that he'll probbaly get at least A WHOLE WEEK in prison...

Here's hoping it's a proper court result for a change.
