using 888's on Santa Pod's strip

anyone done this before? - was wondering if its worth it or not, maybe just having a pair on the fronts at least then doing a quick burn out just before lining up as a lot of people do just to get some heat on the tyres.

need thoughts & suggestions

Slicks or semi slicks will always help on the strip. Hardest part is getting the power down when launching.

deffo. and yes, get some heat in to them. If you start to hop though take your foot off the go pedal before the dif explodes
