Trip to the F1 museum - Donnington Park. Pic heavy!

Post by rob quilter » Tue Jul 31, 2012 1:14 pm

A few days ago me and the missus decided to take a trip to the F1 museum at Donnington Park racetrack, we only found out it was there a few weeks ago. With it only being 10 minutes away from where I live, we thought it would be rude not to.

From the website:
The Donington Grand Prix Collection is, quite simply, the largest showcase of Grand Prix racing cars in the world.
Four halls, with over 130 exhibits, illustrate the history of motorsport from the turn of the 20th Century, where visitors can get close to the cars driven by such famous names as Nuvolari, Mansell, Prost, Moss, Fangio and Stewart.
The Donington Grand Prix Collection houses the largest collection of McLaren and Williams racing cars in the world (outside of their respective factories), and the only complete collection of Vanwalls.
There was also some random vehicles from WW2 there too :?

Sorry about picture quality, the missus picked up our bum droppings digital camera, instead of our good one
