My Soarer decided to sulk!

After last weeks agro.Yesterday it destroyed its drivers side window mechanism with a massive bang so I pulled over and stopped to try and at least secure it in the up position without luck! So sod it I will drive home and have another go. Car would not start no power to the ignition or ancilleries. Called the RAC and as I have priority being disabled they turned up in 13 minutes-impressive or what! turned out the faults were not related. They wedged window in the up position with little rubber blocks they carry for that. The other fault was dirty contacts on the immobiliser where you put the dibber thing in. Waved goodbye to it this morning to have the bodywork done. The bodyshop is then passing it on to the garage for an MOT and fix the window. I wonder when I will see it again?
Pleased with the RAC and their response and the fact they fixed the immobilser as reading various posts on this forum and PUK that is not usually their strong point.
