As Merc said, as of today I think, they are not accepting any vouchers. I'll bet so many people have spent money of Christmas voucherssecla wrote:The stores havnt actually closed yet have they ? get in there quickHowzit37 wrote:HMV must have known before Christmas that they were going in to administration. I do like to have physical copy movie or game even music if I really like it, but even then you can download anything you want free or stream
I worry about used game market, sony put down a patent to stop used games, and with digital content whats to stop them taking it away whenever they feel like.
for example when the previous xbox live on orginal xbox servers went down, all digital content for halo 2 got wiped.
I missed woolworths in my local town it was only decent shop, replaced by poundstrecher
I really hope town centers dont just become kebab shops and hairdressers

If anyone recieved vouchers over £100 and they were purchased on card, the money can be claimed back from your bank.

I'm not a fan of high streets to be honest, mainly because I don't like people. Dawdling, clueless, window-shopping idiots. If I go into a shop it's because I've looked online and seen what I want but couldn't have it delivered. I live 3 minutes walk from Norwich city centre but I've not shopped there in an age!
I am definitely a fan of the simplicity and ease of online shopping, but it is sad to see some of the bigger places that I would go as a youngster are shutting down. I used to love going to Woolies for Lego and picnmix. Same as merc, I used to like going through the CDs in HMV or Virgin and looking at all the stuff I could get. It is nice owning a physical copy of a DVD with the extras etc, but we're in a digital age now. As others have said, yeah digital protection and all these restrictions will come in, but we're an ingenious lot. As always a way around will be found and exploited. Even after this recent piracy crackdown... it's still not difficult.
I don't know if I'm old before my time or what, but the only shops I enjoy going in are antique shops, my local barber and patisseries.

the problem being itunes as well as amazon can removed your paid for downloads without a by your leave you may have paid for them but if they think your abusing the system in any way shape or form they can remove all content and close your account read your terms and conditions.
