Front wheel drive snow & ice drifting!

Post by vtectom » Sat Jan 19, 2013 4:11 pm

Put my snow tyre shod steelies on the front of my 'teg today.

Small dab of hand-brake, apply power, & drift! :D

Who needs a rear-driver?

Told my wife I'd forgotten something - Did a 180 hand-brake turn &
carried straight on back the way I'd come - she
couldn't stop laughing.

I was out manji'ing (fishtailing) in the Camper Golf this morning, Leave the handbrake on and it will keep sideways and you can flick it from side to side.

It's much better in a RWD car though ;)

I went out in the snow on Tuesday in my car and tried to drift in the snow, was hard because you loose momentum but it was loads of fun!

I tried but then it span out lol.
I'd love to try it for real. I know it's not the best car to drift, but it would be a hoot!
