A good cheap GoPro alternative

Yeah the water proof case sucks for sound, but then that's mostly the same for any of these cameras unless you can attach and external mic

But i tried it without the case on and it still sucked for sound in my road car. Didn't even bother in the drift car as all you would hear is tyre squeal.

Small price to pay for decent footage though, considering the price

Funny, mine has been fine. But mountain biking is usually a little quieter than drifting....until I come off and you just me squeeeeeeeeeeeeel!

TBH, for £65 notes it's a ridiculous bargain, plus if I do end up trashing it somehow, I'm not gonna weep like I would if it was a £400 GoPro...
Extra battery was a fiver, and bought a chest mount for a tenner I think.

I think I bought on of these lol. Should be here this week hopefully ready to use for sunday track day. I payed 70 for it but got aloud of jobby with it. Was on fb on a group by page call bargin motorsports. Doesn't seem such a bargin now though if its the same one lol

Yes. I think you get a more natural sound with the case off. The little holder for the camera is fine for me. I doubt I'll use the waterproof case much, it does look cool though.

I picked up a 32gb class 10 micro SD for a fiver and a micro HDMI -> HDMI cable for £1.50

Merlin do you need a hdmi to hdmi lead to upload what vedio you have taken from the camera as the usb lead doesn't seem to work for me.

Also when I put the micro sd into my phone it doesn't come up the video. Only on the camera will it come up

I remove the memory card from the camera and plug the card into my PC, then copy the files off the card.

Your phone wont have the correct codecs to play the vid.

Once on the PC I would convert it before you upload to youtube, it would take forever other wise. Use something like handbrake (free) to convert to a smaller file size. Handbrake converts to MP4.
