I have the same hawk kit on my 5th gen. I initially fitted it to my last 5th that didn't have a key fob, but had central locking on the key. Fairly straightforward job. The only slight issue I had was working out which wires to 'tee' into. Colours given in the instructions were different to the ones in my car. I transferred the kit into my current lude which came with a key fob just so I would still have a spare as the hawk system is supplied with two. That's an indication of how easy the task is.
