I nearly had a tear as she was being dragged onto the truck, it took me two months to ring the guys to take it away cos I didn't want to let her go even though i had already long ago stripped her down, but already owning another lude made it a bit easier.
tbh cos she was a 2.3 there where hardly any usable or tasty parts imo. things where kept for my poly bushing plans for the vtec and as general spare parts IE abs, 4ws , steering rack .
I've broken and sold a lude in bits before and had no interest in doing so this time due to the high amount of people breaking ludes on the forum .
Shiny. I'm not really clued up on the euro r but i do know they look a bit different/better, the 7 gen can look a bit plain....
And Rob I nearly bought a tourer, they'd look great slammed.......

Lol.... both rear arches shot to drokk as well as down at the sill by back arch on both sides, drivers door behind wing mirror,Merlin wrote:Its a shame, that shell didnt look like it had much/any rust on it from those pics.
A pillar going down behind the windscreen had a 6 inch long section of rust and the clutch was about to go, paint and lacquar had gone on the wings and bonnet......
The cost to fix the rust issues just made it uneconomical to repair on a 20 year old car that was only a 2.3, now if it was a vtec like Shirley maybe I would of tried a bit harder..... like I have done on my vtec...
I've done the rear arches, sills and clutch myself on that, fitted oem working shocks and lowering springs, built my own fog lights, rewired the 4WS so it works, resprayed and fitted a JDM brake light spoiler, I now have a working ABS mod and pump to put in, I now have all the suspension parts so I can fit polybush's at my
leisure.....
All depends on what you want to put the effort into I suppose
