It is a derelict house, i know the owner. It was condemned because he couldn't afford to keep it safe. Totally gutted now though, flames were above the roof at one point!

My guess no insurance then!

It won't be insured, i can guarantee that.

Owner was taken in for questioning today as he has been recorded by one of the locals on their phone "leaving the scene laughing".

Doesn't mean he torched it though, he may just have found it amusing that it caught light seeing as how he was evicted from his own home.
